Michael Propst

Michael “Possom” Propst - President

 Mr. Propst has more than 11 years of experience in environmental and related areas in the private and public sector industries. Many of his duties involve finding projects, lining up work, quoting, filling out profiles, getting personnel and equipment to projects, and completing projects in a safe and timely manner. He also operates equipment, participates in planning, filling out reports, and many times actually suits up and gets dirty. Mr. Propst is fully trained and certified in the operation of bulldozers, rollers, excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, truck mounted cranes, bobcats and dump trucks.

He also holds licenses and certifications in:

  • DOT Hazardous Materials
  • OSHA Confined Space Entry
  • CDL Class A Tanker and Hazmat
  • MSHA Training in Construction and Emergency Preparedness
  • Annual US EPA, OSHA and RCRA Hazardous Waste Training (Proper Shipment Labeling) Including Hazardous, Non-Hazardous and Bill of Lading Procedures
  • Hazwopper 40 Hour / Hazwopper 8 Hour Refresher
  • State of Florida Auctioneer
  • State of Florida Real Estate Broker
  • CPR certified

Additional Support Staff

Kathryn Costine – Office Manager/Project Assistant

Ms. Costine is the Office Manager and Project Assistant that supports the technical staff and handles the day-to-day operations inside the office.  These tasks include but are not limited to human resources, payroll, invoicing, ordering, printing of all Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Manifests for all truck runs using the EnviroWare Software and required labels. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida and has advanced working knowledge of Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite, communication and collaboration tools, Outlook and Skype. Additional responsibilities include management of facilities and A/P submittal and tracking.

Jerry Chambless – Consultant

Mr. Chambless, was one of the founders of CGE and has more than 25 years of environmental experience in the private and public sector industries. He holds licenses and certifications in DOT Hazardous Materials, OSHA Confined Space Entry, and Florida Phosphate Council – Contractor Safety Programs with familiarization of 49 CFR, HM-181, HM-215 and HM-126F. A portion of his environmental experience was specializing as a service advisor in the water blasting, vacuuming and chemical cleaning industry. His customer base included the industrial, power, government, engineering, underground utility, and building industries. His consulting capabilities included water-sewer, storm lines, lift stations, vacuum work and tank-chemical cleaning. His knowledge, which also includes the servicing and operation of sewer vacuum machines, sewer jets, pumps and water blasting equipment, provides customers with cost-effective solutions that can be individualized to meet their unique needs.
