About CGE

Built on practical experience

Common Ground Environmental, Inc. (CGE) was founded in Lakeland in 2003 by environmental consultants with more than 50 years of combined experience. They built the company around hands-on fieldwork, sound judgment, and dependable service. In 2017, Michael Propst, a long-time CGE team member mentored by the founders, became president.

Who we serve

CGE supports Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, manufacturers, laboratories, and local businesses. We tailor waste removal, industrial cleaning, transportation, and remediation support to each site and project.

A common sense approach

Our priorities are customer service, safety, convenience, and regulatory compliance. We listen to the problem, select appropriate equipment and methods, and work to resolve it efficiently and cost-effectively. Clear documentation and careful execution help clients protect their operations and the environment.
